As for the girls over here all right about later. Let me know how confidential it'll be. I'd hate for you-know-who to find a letter with that info enclosed. Anyway I haven't sampled a very good cross-section yet. I'll make a full report at a later date. (Combat is the ultimate aphrodisiac.)


I guess Betty told you I, in all the confusion, left your pen there. She's mailing it to me ASAP.


I'm sending pictures home for her to have developed. So when you get a chance now and again you can stop by and see the the compound etc. The first ones won't be very good as I was just experimenting with the camera.


I've decided one thing in the short time I've been over here. Every American, poor, rich, or otherwise, should be required by law to visit a country such as this. The poorest people I've ever come across in the U. S. have it a 100 times better than the majority of the people here. When I was at Nha Trang, I had some women working for me filling sandbags and stacking them.
